Location: Callywith College, Bodmin

Salary: £14.95 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Contract Type: Claims basis

Responsible to: Exams Officer

Callywith College, rated Ofsted Outstanding, is seeking reliable and conscientious individuals to join our team of Examinations Invigilators. This is a vital role in supporting the integrity of the examination process and ensuring students have a calm, supportive environment during their assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up exam rooms in line with JCQ regulations.
Check candidate identification and seating arrangements.
Supervise students during exams, maintaining exam conditions.
Monitor timing and ensure compliance with awarding body regulations.
Collect and secure exam papers and materials post-exam.
Report any irregularities and complete incident documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards.

We are looking for individuals who:

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can remain calm and supportive under pressure.
Are thorough, reliable, and able to follow procedures precisely.
Have experience working with young people.
Are confident using basic IT (e.g., email, calendars).
Understand the importance of confidentiality and integrity in exams.

Previous experience in exam invigilation or education settings is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
