Chemistry is one of the most useful A Levels to study; it is challenging, rewarding and well respected by employers and universities alike. It draws on a wide range of subjects ranging from physical chemistry calculations to the creative nature of organic synthesis. The skills gained are extremely transferable and chemists are renowned for being adaptable scholars and desirable employees.

By studying Environmental Science you will learn about how physical and biological systems on Earth function and how these can become disrupted. You will investigate and critically evaluate advances in technology to produce energy, food and resources more efficiently.

Extended Certificate Applied Human Biology

Learners will study applied human biology which forms the foundation of the health and health science sectors. The sectors are wide ranging, including, for example, nursing, midwifery, allied health and sciences including life sciences, clinical biomedical sciences and physiological sciences. There are approximately 50,000 people employed in applied health science occupations and over 3 million nurses in the UK.

The Level 3 Science Diploma is designed to give you a detailed understanding of aspects of science with an emphasis on the skills and knowledge used in many fields of science including forensic, medical, chemical and biological sciences.
