Why do you think Cornwall needs Callywith College?

Post-16 options for students living in North and East Cornwall were more limited before the opening of Callywith College. Many students would travel considerable distances to access the range of courses that suited progression into their chosen career. Introducing Callywith College gave students a wide range of course choices nearer to home, meaning less travel and more time to study, work and relax.

What about working at Callywith College do you enjoy the most?

Playing a small part in a young person’s life that helps them improve their future opportunities is the most rewarding part of the job.

What advice would you give students considering applying for Callywith College?

Come along to one of our open days and meet all the staff. Speak to anybody you know who studied at Callywith and ask what they thought of their experience. Try and think about what areas you may want a career in so we can offer the best advice.
