We are looking for a Domestic Services Team Member to join our hardworking and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and as part of a team, takes pride in a job well done, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards.

About the Role

Working as part of our Domestic Services team, you will help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the college campus through a range of cleaning and housekeeping duties. Responsibilities will include:

  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Dusting and cleaning surfaces
  • Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal areas
  • Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
  • Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
  • Supporting deep-cleaning activities during college holiday periods
  • Assisting with moving furniture when required

The role requires flexibility, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the high standards that our students, staff and visitors expect.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail
  • Is reliable, organised and able to manage their time effectively
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Has previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, college, office or similar environment
  • Understands health and safety requirements, including the safe use of cleaning products
  • Is adaptable and willing to respond to changing priorities
  • Is comfortable using cleaning machinery and equipment
