- Keep the Board informed about emerging governance guidance, legislation and sector developments.
- Oversee governance processes including audit arrangements, training and development, and evaluation of effectiveness.
- Manage the full cycle of board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute‑taking and document management.
- Support recruitment and induction of Trustees, ensuring the Board has the right balance of skills and experience.
- Act as guardian of the college’s integrity, taking action where governance risks or unlawful actions may arise.
- Draft statutory governance documents and contribute to key corporate publications such as the Annual Report and Accounts.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly organised, professional and impartial individual with:

- Strong corporate governance knowledge and experience.
- Excellent administrative skills, including producing high‑quality agendas and minutes.
- The ability to work strategically and advise senior leaders with confidence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective professional relationships.
