0.6 FTE (22.2 hours per week, no more than 15 teaching hours per week)
£30,351 – £45,069 pro rata (Bands B–D, depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

As part of our Maths team, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high‑quality GCSE Maths lessons that motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Create inclusive, well‑planned learning experiences that meet a diverse range of student needs.
  • Play an active role within your curriculum team and contribute to college‑wide initiatives.
  • Support learners through effective assessment, feedback and progress tracking.
  • Contribute to the wider student experience through pastoral support and commitment to our college values.
  • You will work Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, teaching as part of a supportive and collaborative team that shares resources, best practice and a passion for learner success.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or be working towards one).
  • A strong record of successful teaching or relevant experience in Maths.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice, continuous professional development and collaborative working.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a growing and innovative college.
