Cornwall Council Travel Scheme

Cornwall Council provide a subsidised travel scheme for eligible students (please see their Post-16 Travel Assistance Policy for more details).

Applications for the Cornwall Council pass can be made from 1st May 2026 here.

Cornwall Council passes can only be used on the designated route and time specified on the ticket and not any other bus services, including the Callywith College network. The pass could be for public transport, or a bus contracted to Cornwall Council solely for transporting students to and from school or college.

Assisted Transport / Taxis

Cornwall Council’s travel scheme includes access to Assisted Transport for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans. Guidance is available on the Council website here.  As with all transport from the Council, the pass must be paid for at time of application.

Public Bus Routes

Public buses to Bomin are run by Transport for Cornwall. Details of their timetables and prices are available on their website.

While we provide links to local public bus services for information, these services are operated independently and the college has no control over routes, timetables or service reliability.
