Terms of Registration

Please see the below, the Terms of Registration for a Go Cornwall Bus Pass for Callywith College:

Submitting the registration form will not guarantee the allocation of a bus pass (in line with the guidance given at the start of the bus pass registration form.)

The below criteria will be used to allocate passes in the following order:

EHCP students, Children in Care or students in receipt of Income Support or Universal Credit in their own right.
Current students returning for their second year of study on a 2 year course.
Students 16 years old at the start of their course applying for their first year of post-16 study.
Students 17 and over at the start of their course applying for year 1 of a 2 year course.
Students 17 and over applying to transfer into year 2 of a 2 year course.

In the event of a tie-breaker, the date of acceptance of offer of a place at Callywith will be used with preference given to earliest acceptance given, if a second tiebreaker is required date of submission of application for a place at Callywith College will be used with preference given to earliest submission. 

Confirmation of a space being allocated will be sent out week commencing 17th July 2023, including a link to our online payment portal where you can pay for the pass.

Passes will need to be paid for by 30th August 2023.  If a pass is not paid for by this date the space may be reallocated to a student on the waiting list for that bus route.

Please note that the purchase of a pass provides access to a public bus service and does not guarantee a reserved seat. At busy times, passengers may be required to stand within safe legal limits for public transport.

All buses are public buses run by Go Cornwall with timetables adjusted to allow Callywith students to get to college at a certain time.  Any queries regarding routes and times should be sent to ask@gocornwallbus.co.uk.

In addition to your named college route at the beginning and end of the college day, your Go Cornwall bus pass can be used on all routes in Cornwall on Go Cornwall buses (excluding central Plymouth) including at weekends and during college holidays.

Passes are non-refundable, but are transferable to another student if there is a waiting list and another student requires the allocated space.
