A powerful final bow for Performing Arts Students
Our production of Wildfire Road by Eve Leigh marked the final performance for our incredible Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing & Production Arts students – and what a powerful way to celebrate the end of their journey with us.
Performed on the professional stage at Theatre Royal Plymouth as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival, this production showcased the creativity, commitment and talent our students have developed throughout their time on the course.
Wildfire Road is a gripping and thought-provoking play exploring resilience, connection, and the search for hope in uncertain times – and our students approached every moment with maturity, passion and outstanding dedication.
Performing Arts Lecturer Steve Wilde shared: “This production has been a fantastic opportunity for our students to bring together everything they’ve learned during their time with us. From performance and character work to collaboration, professionalism, and creative problem-solving, they’ve applied their skills with confidence and maturity throughout the entire process. Watching them deliver such a powerful performance on a professional stage has been incredibly rewarding.”
A huge thank you to Theatre Royal Plymouth and National Theatre Connections for providing such an inspiring platform for young performers to shine.
Here’s to the next chapter for our students – we can’t wait to see where their talent takes them next!
