Students hit the slopes of Pontedilegno-Tonale, Italy

Callywith students have had a brilliant half term on the slopes of Pontedilegno-Tonale, Italy with students from Truro and Penwith College.

It has been fantastic to see students enjoying the mountains once again and mixing and making new friends from across all three campuses.

All students made amazing progress during the week-long trip, many of which who had never skied or snowboarded before! Students tackled slopes at the Presena Glacier (3,000m above sea level) with the help of their excellent instructors Giuseppe, Osvaldo, Daniele and Stefano at Ponte di Legno Ski School.

Our advanced ski groups skied a wide range of different pistes across the 319 run resort. Students were treated to ‘bluebird’ ski days throughout the week as the conditions were perfect.

The Truro, Penwith and Callywith (TPC) Ski Club team were thoroughly impressed with the attitude and amazing progression of all students.
