V Level Digital Systems & Data (A Level equivalent)

If you are interested in digital technology, data and how systems are used to solve real-world problems, this course will be of great interest to you. It is ideal if you want to explore the digital sector while developing practical and analytical skills.

You will study a broad range of topics linked to digital systems and data, developing an understanding of how technology is used in organisations. This includes working with data, analysing and presenting information to support decision-making, and understanding how digital systems are configured and used. You will explore areas such as cyber security, system development and digital solution design, learning how to identify risks and create solutions to meet user needs. Throughout the course, you will develop skills in problem-solving, analysis and communication through applied, real-world contexts.

You could progress on to university courses in Computing, Data Science, Cyber Security or Software Development. This course also supports progression into apprenticeships or employment in areas such as IT support, systems development, digital technologies or data-related roles.

You will require 5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English and Maths.
