The Rugby Academy caters for a range of abilities, providing the opportunity to play in all formats of the games including touch, 7’s, 10’s and 15 a side.
Players will have up to five hours per week of rugby related activities, which will include coaching sessions, video analysis, fitness sessions, skills work and weight training. Depending on numbers, the College expect to enter a team into local county and regional leagues, cups, tournaments and friendly fixtures. There will also be the opportunity to travel further afield to national competitions like the National Schools 7’s at Rosslyn Park. There should be over 15 games per season depending on the level of team and success in the cups.
Players will also be given the chance to develop leadership, coaching and officiating skills through additional qualifications and experience in local schools and clubs.
