Domestic Services Team Member

Callywith College, rated Ofsted Outstanding, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Services Team Member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Role Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH guidelines
• Report maintenance issues and ensure cleaning supplies are well-stocked
• Assist with deep cleaning during college holidays and move furniture when required
• Be flexible and responsive to changes in cleaning schedules

What We’re Looking For:

• A team player who can also work independently
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
• Reliable, proactive, and good at managing time
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and safe use of cleaning products
• Experience in cleaning, ideally in schools or offices
• Ability to lift light furniture and operate powered cleaning machines
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook)
• Flexibility to work varied hours throughout the year
