Callywith College, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Learning Support Administrator to join our dedicated Learning Support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their time at college.

Role profile

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo.
  • Support the coordination of Exam Access Arrangements and liaise with the Exams, Admissions, and Student Services teams.
  • Maintain and update SEND records, including EHCPs, medical information, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and manage documents using spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, schools, and external agencies.
  • Assist with the organisation of timetables, calendars, and meetings for the Learning Support team.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the Learning Support area through general admin duties.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in administrative or secretarial roles, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Confident using IT systems, including spreadsheets, databases, and email.
  • A strong communicator with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic about supporting young people and committed to inclusive education.
  • Familiarity with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and SEND terminology is desirable but not essential.
