Casual Sports Coach Opportunity

Are you passionate about rugby and inspiring the next generation of players?

Callywith College is interested in hearing from enthusiastic and experienced rugby coaches who may be interested in supporting our growing rugby programme.

We're seeking individuals who can work with both our men's and women's rugby teams, helping students develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game. The role would also involve supporting the college with home and away fixtures throughout the season.

This is a casual, term-time opportunity. Coaching and fixture commitments would typically take place on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, although some flexibility may be required to support fixtures and tournaments.

Role Profile

What you'll do

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive rugby coaching sessions.
  • Support the development of both men's and women's rugby teams.
  • Prepare students for competitive fixtures.
  • Accompany and support teams at home and away matches where required.
  • Foster a positive, respectful and supportive team culture.
  • Promote student wellbeing, participation and performance.

What we're looking for

  • A qualified rugby coach (Level 2 preferred, although applications from suitably experienced Level 1 coaches would be welcomed).
  • Experience coaching young people or teams in a club, school or college environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive approach and ability to motivate students of varying abilities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
